- It's not always possible for all bugs to be fixed; this is often the case even when the maintainer is paid.
Step 2: WHY, WHY, WHY
- In other words, don't just assert 'it's important'- persuade them that it is.
- Too many bugs scream 'I can't believe you haven't fixed this yet' for a bug. When you add 'this prevents me from doing X' or 'here is the specific data that makes me think this is important' suddenly they get fixed.
